PETALING JAYA: A former officer to Seputeh MP Teresa Kok will be charged tomorrow with corruption involving a project in the constituency.
Berita Harian quoted a source as saying the ex-aide would be charged in the Kuala Lumpur sessions court.
In March 2025, Kok’s former officer was nabbed by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission over allegations he had solicited and accepted a RM500,000 bribe.
MACC sources had said the bribe was for helping to approve an application for RM1.5 million in funding for the supply of interactive smart boards to several schools in Kuala Lumpur.
