PETALING JAYA: Parti Bersama Malaysia, Muda and Parti Sosialis Malaysia are expected to emerge empty-handed in the Johor state election tonight.
Bersama fielded 15 candidates in its maiden election, of whom at least three are expected to lose their deposits, in Tiram, Bukit Naning and Permas.
The party, led by former PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli, is also trailing heavily in Puteri Wangsa, Johor Jaya, Stulang, Perling, Skudai, Bukit Permai and Senai, and its candidates also appear likely to lose their deposits as well.
Muda is on track to lose Puteri Wangsa, the only seat it won in 2022, with its candidate trailing far behind those from Pakatan Harapan and Barisan Nasional.
The party also contested three other seats, Simpang Jeram, Maharani and Bukit Batu, where its candidates are also expected to lose their deposits, as with the PSM candidate in Skudai.
