KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has announced that the royal commission of inquiry (RCI) report on Tabung Haji (TH) will be tabled in the Dewan Rakyat during a special sitting on Aug 11.
Anwar’s announcement of the special sitting, scheduled for 10am, comes a day after the RCI report was declassified and released to the public following Cabinet approval.
He said he had already spoken to the Dewan Rakyat speaker about convening the special sitting.
The RCI was established in 2021 to investigate TH’’s management, operations and asset-related issues between 2014 and 2020, following concerns over governance and the fund’s financial position.
