PETALING JAYA: Men’s doubles shuttlers Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Rumsani smashed into the finals of the Indonesia Open, making it the second time the pair will be making an appearance at a World Tour Super 1000 final.
Displaying newfound confidence, the world No 8 Malaysian pair beat South Korea’s defending champions and world No 1 duo Kim Won Ho-Seo Seung Jae in the semi-finals of the Indonesia Open at the Istora Senayan today.
Sze Fei-Izzuddin won 21-18, 17-21, 21-16 in 55 minutes against the Korean pair who were champions at the All England Open, Badminton Asia Championships and Malaysia Open this year.
