IPOH: Police are tracking down a motorcyclist believed to have used his helmet to smash the windscreen of a car at about 1.30am yesterday after the car driver honked at him for riding erratically and nearly getting in his way.
Ipoh police chief Najib Hamzah said the motorcyclist is believed to be in his 30s and was riding a blue Honda Dash motorcycle. Dashcam footage is being analysed to assist in the investigation, he said.
“As a result of the incident, the victim suffered losses estimated at RM1,500,” he said in a statement tonight. A video clip of the incident has been widely shared on social media.
