KUALA TERENGGANU: A woman motorcyclist was killed after her high-powered machine crashed into a road divider near here this evening while she was returning home from the Superbike Fighter event in Gong Badak.
Kuala Terengganu police chief Azli Noor said the woman, aged 40, lost control of her Aprilia superbike while negotiating a bend and crashed into a road divider at about 6.45pm while travelling from Gong Badak in Kuala Nerus towards Dungun.
She died at the scene from severe injuries sustained in the crash. The woman, from Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi in Selangor, was believed to be returning to her homestay accommodation in Dungun, Azli said.
