PETALING JAYA: Former Johor menteri besar Sahruddin Jamal and former deputy Dewan Rakyat speaker Rashid Hasnon are among 15 candidates Bersatu will field for the Johor state election.
Party president Muhyiddin Yassin unveiled the line-up in Pagoh tonight.
Sahruddin, who served as Johor menteri besar from 2019 to 2020, will defend Bukit Kepong.
Rashid, who is also the former Batu Bahat MP and Pantai Jerejak assemblyman, will take on Senggarang.
Abd Mutalip Abd Rahim, who joined Bersatu earlier today after quitting Umno, has been fielded in Layang-Layang.
