PETALING JAYA: The newfound unshakeable confidence of men’s doubles shuttlers Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Rumsani at the Indonesia Open continued in the final, beating home heroes Raymond Indra- Nikolaus Jaoquin to lift the prestigious World Tour Super 1000 title.
The world No 8 Malaysian pair silenced the home crowd roar at the Istora Senayan in a pulsating final match which saw the Sze Fei-Izzuddin comeing from a game down to win 13-21, 21-18, 21-10 in 48 minutes.
The victory was extra special for the Malaysian world No 8 as it was their second title at the Istora Senayan in Jakarta this year, where they beat the same rivals in January to lift the Indonesian Masters crown.
